How to outsource AI product videos for fashion ecommerce
Define what motion should show, who reviews it and how to receive videos by SKU. A guide to delegating AI visual production.

Outsourcing AI product videos means commissioning a result, not merely access to a generator. For a fashion brand, the work includes interpreting the garment, directing motion, reviewing continuity and delivering files useful for agreed channels. DELFI manages this workflow with physical garments and human quality control.
Define the purpose of motion
A video can show drape, volume, texture or a usage detail. Choose one main purpose per piece. If a setting or transition overshadows the product, the video may be attractive but less useful on an ecommerce product page.
What the request should contain
Include SKU, variant, channel, orientation, intended duration and priority attribute. Specify whether you need a silent version, embedded text or adaptations for different destinations. Duration and formats are quoted per project; do not assume every video includes every variant.
Review more than the opening frame
Compare the garment throughout the sequence. Watch seams, laces, prints and proportions that may change during movement. Review opening and closing frames, scene continuity and mobile crops.
Record file, exact time, issue and reference. Feedback with a timestamp and attribute is more actionable than saying the movement looks strange.
Delivery and responsibilities
DELFI produces and reviews; your brand validates visual identity and commercial use. Agree whether delivery includes files by SKU, channel variants and revisions. Publishing to a store or marketplace is a separate task that must be assigned explicitly.
The minimum is 50 SKUs. Paying for approved photos is a photography condition: video requires a specific scope and proposal, rather than automatically extending the Home’s photo headline.
